She is the Office Manager/Secretary for K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center and has been in the funeral business, with Koven Brown for 11 years. She is a member of Agape Christian Fellowship and is an Ordained Minister in the Five Fold Ministry as a teacher of the Gospel.

Billie Humphrey, Aftercare Coordinator, Certified Grief Management Specialist Email: klbrownfuneral@cableone.net Office Phone: (256) 435-7042 Fax: (256) 435-2702 Mrs. Humphrey is married to Gadsden State Librarian Dr. Tom Humphrey with two daughters Rene of Dallas, TX and Nicole of Tuscaloosa, AL.  She is a member  of the First United Methodist Church of Jacksonville.  Billie earned an AA degree from Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, KY in 1970, a BA degree from Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, KY in 1973 with Majors in Religion, Philosophy and Sociology.  Earned Certification as a Grief Management Specialist through the American Grief Academy in 2000. Mrs. Humphrey has been the Aftercare Coordinator at K.L. Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Center since 1993, and her career has focused on giving help and hope to the bereaved and those with special needs of all ages in KY, WY, NM and AL. Mrs. Humphrey currently volunteers time to the American Cancer Society, the Retired Senior Volunteer Program of Calhoun County, the Jacksonville Christian Outreach Center and ProLiteracy America. She has worked extensively in the NFDA Pursuit of Excellence program for the benefit of the funeral home.
